Derek serves as the Director of Business Development and is responsible for deal sourcing, business relationships, and permitting activities. Derek has been with the firm for 20 years – playing a critical role in the establishment of business relationships, as well as the development and permitting of more than 2 million square feet of commercial property across the United States. In addition to commercial real estate, Derek has an extensive background in golf course acquisition, development, and management – encompassing more than 75 golf course properties nationwide. Derek’s extensive business relationships with some of the world’s largest financial institutions, pension funds, hedge funds, private equity groups, and family offices in the United States and Middle East have played a vital role in The Vazza Real Estate Group’s success to date.
